LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested two men after two juveniles were found smoking marijuana inside a Louisville apartment.

According to arrest reports, officers were called to an apartment on Big Ben Drive, near the intersection of S. Hurstbourne Pkwy. and Bardstown Rd., just before 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 13.

Police say they were asked to go to the apartment to check on the welfare of two juveniles.

When officers arrived, one of the juveniles opened the door to let them in. Upon entering, officers allegedly found -- in plain view -- a bag of marijuana with nine individually wrapped packages for sale, along with a bag of drug paraphernalia.

Cody Alvey, age 21, and Robert K. Mansfield, age 20, were also in the apartment, and allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana in the apartment, along with the two juveniles.

Police say the juveniles were not supposed to be there.

Both Alvey and Mansfield were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor.
