LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - On Monday, Kentucky State Police received an anonymous tip identifying two suspects involved with the robbery of a Brandenburg convenience store.

The Friendly Food Mart on Broadway Street was robbed on April 6 by two men armed with a knife. The two men fled the scene after taking the cash drawer containing an unknown amount of money from the clerk.

The suspects were identified from pictures taken from the store's video surveillance cameras and later released by the media.

Derik Walker, 35, of Shepherdsville, and David Stearman, 31, of Brandenburg, were both charged with robbery and lodged in the Meade Co. Detention Center.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing. The Brandenburg Police assisted Kentucky State Police with the investigation.
