LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A student at Doss High School was arrested Wednesday, the day after police say he threatened a teacher.

The alleged crime took place on April 15, at the school which is located on St. Andrews Church Road, near Blanton Lane.

Police say 18-year-old Deonte M. Rhodes was playing games and ignoring the teacher while in class. The teacher allegedly told the student several times to sit down and pay attention.

Police say the student refused, telling the teacher, "I don't give a [EXPLETIVE] you fat [EXPLETIVE]. I'm 18 and I'm gonna [EXPLETIVE] you up and smash your face in."

The teacher then told Rhodes to leave his classroom.

Rhodes allegedly replied, "I am gonna take care of you outside of this school."

Police say Rhodes left the school property, but came back the next day -- Wednesday -- when he was arrested and charged with second degree terroristic threatening.
