LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No you're eyes aren't playing tricks on you. That is a Ford Mustang on top of the Empire State Building. It was placed there to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mustang.
But how did they get up there? Well, it was a little more complicated than you think."Helicopter or something," suggested one passerby.
"I thought it went up by helicopter," said another.
"It basically rode the elevator just like you and I did," said yet another. The Mustangs were cut into five pieces to fit in the elevator and taken to the top of the building.
The new 2015 models will be available in white or blue. The muscle cars come equipped with either an automatic or a manual transmission.
