Central Indiana high school creates epic lip dub for charity
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Students at central Indiana's Avon High School are getting props for creating an epic lip dub for charity.
With six weeks of planning, one rehearsal and just one official take the students filmed the video by pulling their cameraman in an office chair on wheels until they got to the stairs.
With the support of teachers, the group of 2,700 students choreographed and shot the six minute video to raise money for the Riley Dance Marathon. The charity is part of the Children's Miracle Network and will benefit Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health in Indianapolis.
Students of every type and from every club, group and team danced, lip synched and showed their school pride in the video, which includes 68 different songs from 2013 including hits from Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus. The final scene shows more than 2,200 students cheering in the high school gym.
