LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Easter festivities drew crowds outside on a beautiful day Saturday to hunt for eggs and enjoy a parade. The city's Easter parade started this morning on Frankfort Avenue from Stilz to Haldeman Avenues.

Everyone was there, including the man of the moment, the Easter bunny.

There was candy for the kids and lots of other costumed characters, including a cow and a superhero.

Meanwhile across town at St. Pauls Episcopal Church on Lowe Road, kids were getting into the spirit with an Easter egg hunt. After finding them the children were rewarded with prizes and other treats.

This is the 10th year for the event and organizers say about 75 kids come out every year.
