LMPD locates missing man with Alzheimer's

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police say an endangered missing person with Alzheimer's has been found.

The missing person alert has been canceled.

Don Leonard, 63, was last seen by family in the backyard of his home on Lindbergh Drive, April 22 at 7:40 p.m.

Police say Leonard often visits the area of Algonquin Parkway and Taylor Boulevard and he is believed to have left on foot.

Leonard was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans and Nike tennis shoes. He is described as 5'3" and 100 pounds.

Leonard suffers from Alzheimer's, and police ask that you call 574-LMPD if you have any information.
