Louisville man accused of selling stolen Pegasus Pins

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Cashing in on Derby -- illegally!

Authorities say that's what Patrick Badgett was doing last night. Police allegedly caught Badgett selling stolen Pegasus Pins near the corner of Witherspoon and River Road.

Badgett told officers he bought the box of 50 pins, but the Kentucky Derby Festival said they'd been stolen - and Badgett had no permit to sell the iconic pins.

Badgett is charged with receipt of stolen property.
