LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- WDRB has obtained the name of a man who was tazed inside the lobby of a University of Louisville dorm building.

Michael Amsler was arrested Thursday morning.

Police say the 22-year-old stole a wallet, and witnesses told officers he walked into Bettie Johnson Hall. When police arrived and tried to arrest him, he allegedly fought back, even going so far as to grab an officer's gun, according to the arrest report. Police had to use a tazer to bring him into custody.

He pleaded not guilty to burglary, assault and resisting arrest -- among other charges -- while in court Friday morning.
