Death row inmate seeks appeal for triple homicide case

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. (WDRB) -- A one-time Army helicopter mechanic at Fort Campbell is facing execution for a triple homicide. He now wants the US Supreme Court to review the case.

41-year-old Kevin Wayne Dunlap will allow his lawyers to ask for an appeal, as long as the legal team keeps him updated. Dunlap pleaded guilty in February 2010 to attacking a woman and her three children at their Trigg County home.

The house was then lit on fire. He was sentenced to death and previously sought to end his appeals and expedite his execution.
