LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Newburg woman allegedly pulled the trigger of a handgun pointed at her boyfriend and his son after an argument over money.
Metro Police say 24-year-old Chloe Pinchbeck was arguing with her boyfriend Friday, when he claimed she pointed a gun at him and pulled the trigger.
According to an arrest report, the victim told officers he carried his son to the back of the home during the argument, and when he turned to face Pinchbeck she was pointing a .38 revolver at him and his son.
Pinchbeck allegedly said she was going to her kill her boyfriend and squeezed the trigger twice. But police say the firearm may have malfunctioned and the victim tried to wrestle the gun from Pinchbeck.
Police say Pinchbeck dropped the gun and ran off, but police later arrested her two miles away from the scene.
Pinchbeck faces two charges on wanton endangerment.
