LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jeffersonville is following Louisville's lead, adding security cameras along its side of the Big Four Bridge.

It will cost $90,000 to install a fiber optic network, plus 24 new cameras along the ramp and park at the base of the ramp.

"Safety is paramount, and if you don't have that, the crowds are not going to come," said Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore.

Jeffersonville-based company Security Pros will have the cameras installed before the ramp opens.
