LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested a suspect for trying to run over a woman and her baby.

It happened at the corner of S. 26th St. and Cedar St., just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1.

Police say a woman was pushing a baby in a baby stroller, when 22-year-old Garnita Randolph drove up in a maroon Ford Fusion and tried to run them over.

Several people said they saw the attempt, according to an arrest report.

Randolph was arrested by police a short time later on W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., allegedly driving the same vehicle used in the incident. She was charged with first degree wanton endangerment.
