LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police arrested a Clarksville man on Derby Day after he allegedly offered scalped tickets for the Kentucky Derby 140 to undercover officers.

According to an arrest report, 24-year-old James Daniel was standing outside Gate 1 at Churchill Downs on Saturday when he offered undercover officers two tickets to the races above face value.

Police say Daniel was not authorized by Churchill Downs to offer the tickets for sale.

Daniel is charged with ticket scalping and was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant from Indiana.
