LMPD: Man robbed U.S. Bank in east Louisville on Oaks Day

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police are searching for a man they say robbed an east Louisville bank on Oaks Day.

The suspect walked into U.S. Bank on Springhurst Commons Drive and present a note at the banking counter stating that he was armed, according to a press release.

Police say the man, described as a 30 to 40-year-old white male with a thin build, ran off after receiving money from the bank. He was captured on surveillance.

No one was injured in the robbery.
