LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- They warned us a bourbon shortage was looming. Now Buffalo Trace Distillery officials say there are no signs of the bourbon boom letting up.

The company says it's taking steps to mitigate the problem. Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley says Buffalo Trace is distilling more bourbon than it has in the last 40 years, but it's still hard to keep up with demand and shortages remain.

Along with increased production, the company is adding more bottling lines, hiring more people and has even hired a full-time barrel allocation manager.
