Louisville Stoneware teams up with Bourbon Barrel Foods for "Eat Your Bourbon" class
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Stoneware is teaming up with Bourbon Barrel Foods for a free "Eat your Bourbon" class. It's part of Stoneware's Third Thursday Lifestyle Series.
Remaining true to Stoneware's handcrafted traditions, the company has crossed the region in search of authentic "Makers" of products that complement the Stoneware lifestyle. Beginning in May 2014 Stoneware will launch its "Meet the Maker's" Lifestyle Style Series on the third Thursday of each month.
Stoneware's Michael Clements explains that the classes are being held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. the free and open to the public event will introduce customers to Stoneware's new 1815 Mercantile Product line while providing access to the "Makers" of those products. Each month will feature a different guest and topic. Bourbon Barrel Foods owner, Matt Jamie, heads the first class.
The informal nature of the event will allow the opportunity to ask one-on-one questions of the Makers.
Throughout the year the Third Thursday Lifestyle Series will utilize the retail store's new GE Monogram Experience Kitchen allowing customers to smell, touch and see The Mercantile Collection and the 1815 Mercantile brand in use.
