LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police say a drug deal outside a south Louisville White Castle led to a gunfire exchange in the restaurant parking lot.

Antonio Shelton, 25, allegedly told police he was robbed during a drug deal by an unknown person and exchanged fire while other people were in the parking lot.

Police say officers found Shelton sitting inside his car armed with a Ruger handgun at the White Castle on Fern Valley Road.

According to an arrest report, one victim was standing outside taking a smoke break and Shelton's cousin suffered minor injuries from a ricochet while the gunfire exchange took place.

Police say Shelton fired 19 rounds in the parking lot, creating a danger of death or serious injury to others. Officers searched Shelton's car and home, where police say they found 710 prescription pills of Lortabs, Xanax and Ecstasy.

Shelton faces two charges of wanton endangerment and drug trafficking.
