National Corvette Museum may keep sinkhole

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The National Corvette Museum may have a new permanent attraction.

Museum officials are considering keeping the sinkhole that swallowed eight Corvettes. A spokesperson says attendance has increased by 56 percent since the cars fell below in February.

Officials are now considering building a glass floor above the hole and stairs that would take visitors into the hole.

The last of the eight cars was recovered in March. Many of them are on display and will be sent away to be restored.
