LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say a Louisville mom enlisted her 9-year-old son to help her in a crime.

According to an arrest report, 30-year-old Stephanie L. Satterly is accused of asking her son to take the license plate off of a stolen vehicle so she could have it scrapped and take the money.

Police say the stolen vehicle was worth more than $500, but less than $10,000.

Satterly, who was already in police custody for previous charges, has been charged with engaging in an unlawful transaction with a minor and obscuring the identity of a machine in connection with this incident.
