LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Six people were hurt and more than 20 were forced from their homes after an explosion at an Indianapolis apartment complex.

It happened late on May 15 near Marian University. Officials say many students live in the complex, but it's not considered on-campus housing.

The ages of the victims ranged from 17 to 48, and two of the injured were seriously hurt.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the blast, which blew the roof off one section of the building.

They say the explosion caused $250,000 in damage.
