LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Jeffersonville woman faced a judge Thursday morning in connection with a man who died over a year ago.

In March 2013, 25-year-old Christopher "Buddy" Jones was dropped off at Kosair Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound.
He died a short time later.

Brittany Flores was arrested last night and is charged with tampering with physical evidence.

Police say witnesses claim Flores helped dispose of the gun and of bloody clothing that may have belonged to Jones.

Two others, Christopher Brandon Keith and Abigail Frazier, are also charged with tampering with physical evidence in connection with the case.

To date, the case has not been ruled a homicide.

Police say Keith and Frazier were with Jones when the incident occurred. According to an arrest report, Keith and Jones were riding in the back seat of a vehicle driven by Frazier when Jones was shot.

Keith admitted to firing the weapon three times before the shooting (but not shooting Jones) according to an arrest report.

After Jones was shot, police say Flores, Keith and Frazier hid the weapon. Police also say Frazier took Jones' bloody clothing and threw it in a trash can at a gas station the following day, "because someone else told her to."

When police questioned her about the incident last year, Frazier allegedly admitted to her role in the crime and agreed to show them where the gun was hidden. While en route, police say Frazier offered to perform a sexual act for the two detectives, "if you just give me a citation."

Both Keith and Frazier were arrested last year.

Keith was a convicted felon at the time of the shooting, according to police. He was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Police say Frazier was charged with tampering with physical evidence and bribery of a public servant.
