LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Elizabethtown say they do not suspect foul play in the death of a woman found dead in a pond Thursday night.

The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Rose Akin. That's according to a news release from the Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown.

Police responded to Akin's address around 3 p.m. on May 21 after her relatives notified them that she was missing from her home. Her body was found in a pond across from Larue Co. Middle School at approximately 8 p.m. on May 22.
