LOUSVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 9-year-old boy died Sunday after he was
found in a Crescent Hill swimming pool
Saturday afternoon. 

The Jefferson County Coroner has identified the victim as Dominique Kemp Jr. of Louisville.

We are told he drowned in a swimming pool that belongs to former NFL Player and current St. X football coach Will Wolford. 

Kemp was not pronounced dead until 3:43 p.m. Sunday about 24 hours from when he was rushed to Kosair Children's Hospital. 

Sunday evening, Will Wolford released the following statement: 

"The Wolford family is devastated by this weekend's tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Dominique's family as they deal with unimaginable grief."
