First-ever Clarksville Chalk Walk Festival set for Saturday, May 31

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Calling all artists in the Kentuckiana area! The first-ever Clarksville Chalk Walk Festival is set for Saturday, May 31 at the Clarksville Town Hall building.

Right now the Clarksville Parks Department is searching for talented artists who are interested in competing for prizes and bragging rights.

If you are not a professional artist, don't worry.

Competitors will be divided up into several categories including Professional Artist, Amateur Artist, and Children.

We will also have a family category for families interested in working together.

Chalk will be provided as part of the $5 entry fee.

Professional artists are being asked to bring their own chalk.

The goal of the festival is to promote the arts in southern Indiana.

Enjoy food vendors, music and entertainment provided by Games2U Kentuckiana.
