LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A special moment at a minor league ball park in Iowa this weekend.

When Conrad Gregor knocked a home run over the fence to lead his team to a comeback win, you would never guess who was there to catch it.

Conrad's father happened to be in the right place and the right time.

"I guess he was in right center field behind the fence and he just happened to catch the ball with his bare hand and that was pretty cool," Gregor said in a Youtube interview posted by the team. "Dad thank you for that."

The Gregor family had driven from their home in Carmel, Indiana to see their son play minor league baseball.

The Quad Cities River Bandits were trailing 2-1 in the sixth inning when Gregor hit his first home run of the season.

The three-run home run sent his team into the lead as they went on to win the game.
