LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office is advising motorists of a mobile pothole patching operation on Interstate 64 in Jefferson County.

According to a news release, KYTC crews will be working on both eastbound and westbound I-64 between the Breckenridge Lane overpass and Interstate 265 going from mile points 11 and 20.

Motorists can expect some intermittent traffic delays in the evenings between 6:30 p.m. and midnight.

KYTC crews will be pothole patching on eastbound I-64 in the left and center lane on Tuesday evening.

If time and patching materials permit, the crew will move to the westbound lanes of I-64. Crews will complete patching on westbound I-64 in the right and center lane on the evening of June 4.

Motorists should slow down in both of these areas and watch for maintenance staff on or near the roadway. The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.

Dial 511 or log on to 511.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Drivers can also get traffic information for the District 5 counties at www.facebook.com/KYTCDistrict5.
