Old 502 Winery and Falls City Brewing partner for expansion
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Louisville brands are partnering to expand.
Old 502 Winery and Falls City Brewing are investing $1 million in a renovation project at 10th Street between Main Street and Market Street. That's the current location of 502 Winery. The more-than 35,000 square-foot complex will feature both wine and beer production facilities, tasting rooms for both beverages, and indoor and outdoor event spaces.
John Neace, owner of Old 502 Winery, has become an equity partner in Falls City Brewing Company. David Easterling, who reintroduced the Falls City brand 4 years ago, will remain chief executive officer of Falls City.
The co-location will also feature special education and experimental Falls City brews.
The brewing operations should be up and running in the new location by mid-summer.
