LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- U.S. Senator Rand Paul helped open a new home for the GOP in West Louisville Saturday.

Paul cut the ribbon to the Jefferson County Republican Party's new engagement office in the Trinity Life Center on Hale Avenue.

It's named in honor of William Warley, an influential civil-rights activist and long-time Louisville Republican.

Paul said the new location will help the Republican party appeal to a more diverse audience.

"If we want to win elections,” Paul said, “we need to be a more diverse party. And we need to be in every community and listen to what the problems are in the community and come up with solutions."

Senator Paul says he still doesn't know whether he will run for President in 2016.
