Louisville man charged with harassing communications after unwelcome phone calls

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man who worked for a woman three years ago called her earlier this year and left sexually explicit messages on her phone without her permission.

According to the criminal summons, 50-year-old Glenn Harrison Wescott called the victim seven times and left three sexually explicit messages between January 11 and January 13, 2014.

The summons states that "the victim did not recognize the defendant's voice and was very frightened by the messages."

After investigation, LMPD detectives determined that Wescott was the owner of the phone that made the calls, and police say Wescott admitted that he had called the victim.

Wescott is charged with harassing communications in connection with that case. He was being held at Metro Corrections on a $5,000 full cash bond.
