Evaluation ordered for man who allegedly claimed to have a gun on Millionaire's Row

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- In May, James Young was able to successfully enter Millionaire's Row without a ticket -- but it's what police say he did once he got there that got him arrested.

The 44-year-old was arrested after police say he walked into the exclusive venue and started threatening the patrons, claiming to have a gun.

His curator spoke for Young on Monday. He told the court that Young's actions were the result of him stopping his medication.

"He went on his medication, he was doing very well, and then evidently he stopped again when this occurred," the curator, who did not provide his name, told the judge. "At that time, he doesn't remember a thing that happened."

He apparently stopped taking his medication after he saw advertisements that detailed the drug's harmful side effects. The judge ordered him transferred to the Kentucky Correction Psychiatric Center for evaluation.
