LMPD: Pair committed armed robbery, used victim's credit card

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Two people were arrested after Louisville Metro Police say they committed armed robbery, according to police documents.

Michael Jenkins and Donna Kennedy were arrested on Monday evening, after police say they committed armed robbery in the early morning hours of May 17.

Jenkins and Kennedy are accused of robbing a victim on Indian Trail near Jeanine Drive. Police say the pair was riding in a red vehicle and that Kennedy was behind the wheel.

Police say Jenkins approached a victim with a handgun. Jenkins allegedly stole a credit card, money, and cell phone from the victim.

Both Jenkins and Kennedy were recorded on video using the victim's credit card at area gas stations following the robbery, according to police.

The pair are charged with first degree robbery.
