LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Muhammad Ali is getting back into the ring with Grammy Award-winner Bruno Mars.

On Sept. 20, the singer will hit the stage of the Kentucky International Convention Center.

The concert coincides with Ali's 2014 Humanitarian Awards. It will be part of a week-long festival, with simulcasts of events in both Louisville and The Congo. The event marks the beginning of a partnership between the Muhammad Ali Center and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

"All you hear about the Congo now is genocide, rape, HIV," said Donald Lassere, the President and CEO of the Muhammad Ali Center. "But there is a lot more to the Democratic Republic of Congo than that. There are some very passionate, dedicated people who want to improve their lot in life, so we are going to help them do that through this initiative."

This year marks the 40th anniversary of 'The Rumble in the Jungle,' Ali's legendary battle with George Forman.
