Art on the Parish Green brings artists, vendors, food and music to New Albany
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One of the area's largest juried art shows gets underway this weekend in New Albany.
Art on the Parish Green takes place on the grounds of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Festival Chair Fran Fach shows some of the pieces on display and on sale during the show. And Anne Reinhardt Scott shows some of her works created from coffee bags.
8th Annual Art on the Parish Green Festival Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, June 15, Noon to 5 p.m. St. Paul's Episcopal Church 11th and Main in New Albany Free.
Over 70 juried fine arts and crafts vendors, food court, beer/wine garden, live music, featuring the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Quartet; YMCA Kids Place with children's games, art, Silly Safaris animals; old-fashioned carriage rides through historic New Albany, Jazz Mass on the Grass Sunday 10 a.m. Sponsored by the Horseshoe Foundation, City of New Albany, Develop New Albany, Arts Council of Southern Indiana, YMCA of Southern Indiana, Your Community Bank, Ob-Gyn Associates of Southern Indiana, State Representative Ed Clere, Louisville Street Food Alliance Trucks, River City Winery, New Albanian Brewing Company, and many others.
