LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say three people have been arrested in connection with a homicide that took place last week.
It happened on Tuesday, June 3. According to an arrest report, 20-year-old Jaquea M. Sanders drove the victim, Keith Lane, to a location on S. 8th. Street, near W. St. Catherine Street., so 33-year-old Carlos Beauchamp could attack him.
Once Sanders took Lane to that location, police say Beauchamp shot him, killing him.
After the murder, police say Sanders and Beauchamp fled the scene.
On Wednesday, June 11, Sanders was arrested and charged with complicity to murder, after police say he admitted to his involvement in the incident.
Police say they also arrested 29-year-old Luretta Todd the same day. Todd allegedly admitted to aiding in the escape of one or more of the suspects. She was also charged with complicity to murder.
Beauchamp was arrested in Clark County, Indiana and was being held in the Clark County Detention Center Thursday afternoon.
