Former Louisville-area minister accused of sexually abusing children

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former minister and substitute school teacher is accused of sexually abusing children.

Allen Lehmann, age 76, is charged with two counts of sodomy and seven counts of sexual abuse. There were several alleged incidents in 1993, 1994, 1999 and 2000 with at least two children under the age of twelve.

Lehmann's attorney argued for a bond reduction, citing Lehmann's age, the fact that he has no criminal record, and has been married for nearly 60 years.

Lehmann was a former substitute teacher and pastor at an Assembly of God Church in Louisville.

The judge ordered the bond stay at $100,000 full cash until they can discuss it further on Monday.
