LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested and charged with burglary after police say he walked right into the Churchill Downs money room when he wasn't supposed to be there.

Police say on Thursday, June 12, at 10:30 a.m., 22-year-old Anthony L. Edison walked into the money room -- an area of Churchill Downs where large amounts of cash are stored -- wearing a hat with the name of a construction company that has recently been building upgrades for the racetrack.

When Edison walked into the money room, an employee asked if he was there to do work, and police say he nodded. Edison then allegedly walked into a secure office and began changing into a Churchill Downs employee uniform. That's when a supervisor saw him and called security.

Edison was arrested a short time later and charged with burglary.
