LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have arrested a Doss High School student after he gave a female teacher a chest-bump, then threatened to assault her.
According to an arrest warrant, the incident took place on June 6, during a school assembly.
Police say a Doss High School teacher repeatedly asked 19-year-old Liberis Peterson to return to his assigned seat, but police say he continued to act disrespectfully. When the female teacher told him to leave, he allegedly chest-bumped her, called her a derogatory word, then threatened to beat her up.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday, June 13, and he was taken into custody at his home Tuesday afternoon. He's charged with terroristic threatening, abuse of a teacher and harassment.
