LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting and stabbing Thursday near Churchill Downs.

Homicide detectives arrested 34-year old Adam Lee Kuhn around 11:30 p.m. June 19.

It happened just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday in a home in the 1300 block of Larchmont Avenue. According to the arrest report, that's where Kuhn and the victim were fighting when Kuhn was stabbed.

Police say Kuhn then pulled a gun and chased the victim as he ran from the home. Police say Kuhn "fired multiple gunshots" as he chased the victim and cornered him in the rear of the property. Police say Kuhn then "stood over the victim and fired additional gunshots."

The victim died at the scene.

Kuhn was taken to University Hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Kuhn pleaded not guilty to one count of murder at his arraignment Friday morning. He's being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $35,000 full cash bond.
