Police pursued Graham from CR 400 E in Cortland, east on SR 258 over the White River Bridge, and then northeast through a soybean field.

The white 2003 Honda Graham was driving continued through the soybean field before the vehicle became partially submerged in a flooded portion of the field.

Police say Graham then continued to flee on foot east towards the 6000 north block of Lower Rockford Rd.

Two men fishing at that location, saw the pursuit and saw the bag get thrown from the white Honda. The bag was retrieved and was found to contain a handgun and a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Ammunition and a taser were also found in the bag.

During the course of the investigation, police say Graham made threatening statements towards parties involved in the incident whom he thought might testify against him in court.

Graham was arrested and charged with resisting by fleeing with a vehicle, resisting by fleeing on foot, handgun possession, battery on a police dog, criminal mischief, methamphetamine possession, and intimidation of a witness.
