LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Indiana officials recovered the body of an Otwell man from Patoka Lake Saturday evening, according to a news release.

The body of Anthony Catt, 43, was recovered just before 9 p.m. after officers located him with an underwater camera.

Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the Goose Island area at about 3 p.m., after a caller reported that Catt had dove into the water from a pontoon boat and failed to resurface after striking his head on the boat.

Catt was found in nearly 20 feet of water, approximately 200 feet from shore.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday and an official cause of death will be determined.

Officials said Catt was not wearing a life jacket at the time of the incident and alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor.
