LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man convicted of manslaughter after killing four teens while driving a stolen car in 2008 is due back in court this morning.

Herbert Lee was arrested in Feb. 3 for allegedly driving a stolen car. Police say he ran from them when they tried to stop him near 22nd and Magazine. Police say the car had been reported stolen from a nearby daycare center.

According to court documents, when an officer tried to pull Lee over, he jumped out the car window, but police spotted him in the backseat of another car in an alley a few blocks away.

Police say Lee fought with officers as they pulled him from the car, even causing damage to the back window of the police cruiser once he was placed inside.

Lee served less than three years for the crash the killed Aaron Shields and Jamar, Demar and Marc Claybrooks in 2008. He was also sent to jail last year when he was arrested for driving another stolen vehicle.

Authorities, say he was driving a stolen car when he crashed, killing 4 teens in the car. He served less than three years for that conviction.

Lee now faces nine charges, including receiving stolen property, assaulting an officer and operating on a revoked license.
