LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is in trouble with the law after police say he attacked a woman while she was holding their 5-month-old child.
According to an arrest report, it happened around 10:30 a.m. on June 21. That's when police say 19-year-old Shaque Harper approached the victim while allegedly "intoxicated on alcohol." The two began arguing, and police say the argument turned violent when Harper punched the woman in the face, busting her lip, and then began choking her, causing her "to drop the baby on the floor."
The woman and baby were treated by EMS, but we do not know the extent of their injuries.
Harper now faces charges of assault, wanton endangerment and probation violations.
