LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- JCPS Superintendent Donna Hargens got a positive report card from the school board at their meeting Monday night.  Her job evaluation includes praise for the district's students meeting state standards for the first time, while also lauding her active presence in the community.

The board says Hargens should create a culture of excellence among teachers and staff in the next year.

That includes fostering accountability, a sense of urgency for decisions, leadership, and pride within JCPS.

For the third year in a row, Hargens will not accept a pay raise for the coming year.
