Colo. woman accused of planning to help ISIS terrorists

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a Colorado woman after they say she was planning to help terrorists overseas.

They say 19-year-old Shannon Conley told FBI agents she was traveling to Turkey to marry a member of the terrorist group ISIS.

She said she'd met the man online, and was planning to join him at an ISIS camp in Syria, where she would work as a nurse.

Police say a pastor called them, and told them she'd been acting suspicious.

Conley has been charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists and could face 15 years behind bars.
