Update: Louisville EMT's stolen car found, as he's recovering in hospital

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB)---Authorities have found a stolen car belonging to a Louisville EMT, who is recovering in the hospital from a crash.

We first brought you this story on Wednesday.

Jon Johnson, and a fellow EMT, were recently injured in a fatal crash on River Road.

Johnson has been at the hospital ever since, and his black Ford Focus was stolen from his Shepherdsville home this week.

The family tells us, that the Meade County Sheriff's Department has found the car.

They say it has bullet holes throughout the vehicle, and other damage.

No word yet on if anyone is facing charges for the theft.
