LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Metro Police are investigating the third fatal crash on Dixie Highway in two days.

LMPD Traffic officers confirms the accident happened on South Dixie Highway in Kosmosdale in the furthest point of southwestern Jefferson County. 

Officials say the it happened around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday night. Witnesses told police the motorcyclist appeared to be driving erratically and even attempted a wheelie. 

They say he then ran into a fence. Police say he was pronounced dead on scene. 

Tuesday evening, a motorcyclist was involved in a crash on Dixie Highway, near Orell Road. Hours later, Wednesday morning, there was another deadly incident on Dixie Highway, near Greenwood Road, involving a pedestrian.
