LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested for allegedly stealing $4,000 worth of eyeglasses frames.

Police arrested Kenneth Wilson late Thursday night. According to court documents, Wilson and a female accomplice twice visited an optometrist's office -- once in March and once in May -- and on both occasions, Wilson stole a display case containing frames for eyeglasses.

The office was located on Lime Kiln Lane, near U.S. 42.

The total loss to the store was $4,000.

Police say several witnesses saw what happened and officers were able to identify Wilson. He is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
