New report links nickel in iPads with allergic reactions

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- If you have an unexplained rash and an iPad, the two may be related.

A new report in the Journal of Pediatrics shows the Apple device can affect people with allergies.

The case study involved an 11-year-old boy, whose rash lasted more than six months.

Doctors say nickel in the family's iPad caused it.

A case covering the material can solve the problem.
