Bullitt County court pushes back decision on alcohol sales expansion

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Bullitt County fiscal court has pushed back making a decision on the expansion of alcohol sales.

Members met Tuesday and set a date of August 5th to vote on the issue.

The owner of Little Rick's in Lebanon Junction asked county leaders to make the change saying the lack of Sunday alcohol sales hurts his business.

He says people pass up his place for bars that can sell alcohol on Sundays.

Bullitt County Fiscal Court is considering opening Sunday alcohol sales to all businesses from 1 p.m. to 10.
